St. Mary's RC First School

Year 2 pupils (6-7 year olds) responded to Molenaer's 'Two Boys and a Girl Making Music' by mixing the themes of music and chairs together in this interactive sculpture.

The back legs are shaped like clarinets; chimes hang from the back (complete with beaters); the right arm is made from a real violin; and curtain rings reflect the more improvised instrument played by the girl in the centre of the original painting.
