Wisborough Green Primary School

Year 4 and 5 students from Wisborough Green Primary School in Billingshurst took the drying swimsuit belonging to the girl in Degas's 'Beach Scene' as a starting point for a textile designing project.

Books and the internet were used to research Victorian swimwear. The students decided to keep the traditional shapes of the costumes, updating them with their own modern fabric designs.
