Ruskin Junior School

As part of a wider school project, Year 4 pupils (seven- to eight-year-olds) at Ruskin Junior School in Swindon chose the theme of autumn trees. After going outside in September to look at trees the children wrote descriptive phrases. These were then used to compose a concrete (or shape) poem.

All the pupils at Ruskin Junior School made art work for this project. A large exhibition of their work was held in the school hall for parents and the local community to visit.
