Figures in Movement

As part of their work on figures in movement, Year 6 children from Northampton Preparatory School drew figures from the painting and then made these 3-D models. They constructed the basic figures from wire and masking tape, with a ball of newspaper for the head. The wire frame was then covered in newspaper and masking tape to give it volume. Lastly it was covered with modroc and painted and varnished.
