Southfield Saint George

Students in Year 5 and 6 thought about how to represent 'Saint George and the Dragon' using a range of art techniques. A visiting artist came to the school to work with students on their line drawing and how to represent figures. This line drawing represents Saint George as an active soldier, ready to use his sword. Using very simple tools, the drawing expresses a strong sense of Saint George's physical presence and body language.
